A much loved sculpture, shattered or broken, with pieces that are missing, can be made or sculptured anew, so as to bring the item back to its former glory, so as to preserver the irreplaceable and value of the item.
Michael will restore a wid variety of materials which include ceramic, china, pottery, porcelain,
terracotta, clay, resin, stoneware, and other related materials. He will undertake many different
types of restoration, utilising, a diverse selection of glazes and paints, to carry out the particular
restoration methodlogy.
He can also offer what we term as a museum repapir, a type of high level restoration, which requires reconstructing
any missing segments using colour related resin and would completely seal any cracks.
There are a variety of restoration techniques which Michael can carry out. this is all depending on what material the item
is made from. Material such as resin, plaster and clay are carried out using the cold-cast restoration using either solvent
-based glazes and paints or arcylic-based glazes and paints. this is decided after the evaluation of the item.
